Donate-A-Car
For years, Mid Island Towing has partnered with the Salvation Army to take your old junk vehicle and turn it into meals for the less fortunate. We will pick up your old car, van or truck free of charge and turn it into scrap metal. The funds raised will go to help provide 70,000 meals served annually at the Salvation Army community kitchen. Nanaimo Marine Festival
Mid Island Towing is a proud sponsor of the the Worlds Biggest Bathtub and the Bathtub Weekend every July in Nanaimo. For many years, Mid Island Towing has volunteered to use our powerful towing trucks to more this very large vessel to various community events and even launch it. Yes, it's a fully operational boat with deep vee hull and inboard engine in addition to being a giant bathtub!
Nanaimo Youth Football
We are also proud to help out Nanaimo's Youth Football team, the VI Raiders. The VI Raiders is a once in a lifetime opportunity that allows young men to learn life skills that will help them transition into becoming successful leader. The Raider program is built on a strong tradition and involves a large network of community members (players, parents, peers, volunteers, alumni, coaches) that work hard to make the Raiders Football team the best they can be.
